Beverly Hills Motorcycles is proud to announce that Derek Stephens #177 will be contesting the 250 West Supercross events. In addition to Beverly Hills Motorcycles, Derek is pleased to have Yoshimura, Fly Racing, Decal Works, Renthal, Rtech and Spectro helping throughout the 2016 season. Derek is a true privateer with a job during the week that tends to limit his riding. He is helped out by his mechanic and fellow racer, Angie, who keeps the bike dialed in and ready to race when she is not racing herself. Look for Derek and Angie in the Supercross pits or at the local tracks on the weekend.
Beverly Hills Motorcycles welcomed former World Women's Motocross Champion Steffi Laier on her recent visit to race the World Vet Championship at Glen Helen on November 6th - 8th in San Bernardino, California. Steffi rides for KTM in Europe and through Tami Greenhill from TRPro.com, she received help from KTM USA and KTM Los Angeles for the week. Beverly Hills Motorcycles provided some trackside support with testing abroad the 2016 KTM 250SXF at Milestone the Monday before the race and a variety of spare parts and other items for the race weekend. Saturday the 7th saw Steffi compete in the Women's Pro Class were she went wire to wire for a 1 -1 moto score on the day. She also wanted to get more track time to learn the amazing Glen Helen circuit in preparation for Sunday and rode the Men's 30+ Intermediate class and tallied a 2 -2 moto score for 2nd Overall.
Sunday saw Steffi take the holeshot in both motos and never looked back as she went 1 - 1 on the day to win the 1st ever Women's Pro Purse event in the 31 years of the World Vet Championship. Thanks to Steffi for being such a great ambassador for Beverly Hills Motorcycles and KTM USA for the week.
P.S. These photos were taken at the track with my phone so worked with what I had, enjoy.
